Production Time for Custom-made Asterakia
Asteraki mei tai and ring sling can be made to order, based on your selections.
The maximum time required to make any type of sling (from the day you receive the final confirmation of your order until the day your “Asteraki” is ready to ship) is three (3) business days.
Add two to three more working days if any special construction is needed (e.g. complex appliqué), upon agreement.
However, it’s rare that your order takes more than a week to reach you (in some cases, you may receive it even the next day). In any case, the confirmation email will inform you of the exact delivery time.
Important note: During August, delivery times for Asterakia may be longer than usual.
Shipping Methods
Shipping is done via courier (you can choose between ACS and Box Now during checkout) and costs €3 within Attica or €5 outside Attica.
Usually, delivery time (from the day we ship it to the day you receive it) is one or two days anywhere in Greece. We dispatch your Asteraki immediately and provide tracking info. If delays arise due to the courier, we’ll do our best to push for fast delivery—but we kindly ask for your understanding that it’s beyond our control.
Of course, you always have the option to pick up your Asteraki in person from our showroom! No appointment is needed, unless you’d like us to show you in person how to wear it easily and comfortably. In that case, you’ll need to book an appointment at the time of your pickup.
If you live outside Greece, you’ll see the shipping cost before completing your order, once you select the destination country. It’s €25 within Europe, shipped via registered mail (ELTA).
ℹ️ Note regarding shipping rates displayed on Google:
Google shows a sample rate based on the minimum shipping cost (€3 for Attica).
The actual charge depends on geographic location:
– €3 for Attica
– €5 for the rest of Greece
– €25 for international shipping (via post)
Payment Methods
You can pay for your sling using one of the following methods:
Bank transfer to one of our accounts (ALPHA Bank, National Bank of Greece, Eurobank, Piraeus Bank). Any bank transfer fees are borne by the customer.
Cash on delivery (to the courier upon delivery). This option carries a €4 surcharge to allow the courier to collect the payment. Cash on delivery is available only within Greece and only when shipping via ACS.
In-person payment at our showroom, on weekdays from 10:00–15:00.
Via PayPal, if you have a PayPal account.
Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, from any bank), processed through the secure Winbank environment of Piraeus Bank.
Are You Buying a Gift?
If the sling you chose is a gift, we offer two options:
You can enter your own shipping details and mention in your order that the sling is a gift. We’ll place it in a gift box for you, so it’s ready to offer.
Alternatively, by entering the recipient’s shipping address, we can send the gift directly, and you can pay via bank transfer, card, or PayPal. We can even add a card with your wishes!

Product Exchanges
We want you to be 100% happy with your Asteraki! Before ordering, you’re welcome to ask anything you want and discuss in detail how you’d like your sling to be. After receiving it, contact us if you have any questions or need help using it.
If, however, you decide not to keep it, please confirm the return with us first (you’ll cover return shipping costs). You’ll need your exchange card or sales receipt.
All Asterakia in excellent condition and not washed can be exchanged within 14 days from the purchase date (or from the date on the exchange card). Returns are accepted only for in-stock items. Once we receive the returned carrier, you will be refunded in full (either via bank transfer or refund to your card). In case of exchange, you’ll cover the shipping cost of the new dispatch.
We do not accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:
- custom-made Asterakia (not from the ready-made section)
- carriers that have been washed, used, or are not in excellent condition
- discontinued designs no longer available on the site
- without exchange card or purchase receipt
- missing packaging or accompanying items
- slings shipped by us to locations outside Greece
- slings purchased at a discount or promotional price
- slings that have already been exchanged once
