Babywearing Celebration – Family Day

Carrying connects. Babywearing connects a mother with her baby, but also the entire family. To complete the celebration of European Babywearing Week 2018, we ‘ve prepared a wonderful celebration and cook-along party, to show off the power of babywearing! Lots of wonderful surprises, lots of carrying, carriers, activities.

When and Where?

The event will be kindly hosted by Playgroup Hellas, Kykladon 61, 15341 Athens.
Saturday, May 12, 2018, 12:00 – 15:00
Participation in the celebration, babywearing workshops, and the cooking event is free. Healthy snacks and beverages will be offered.

Since “carrying connects”, don’t leave older siblings at home! There will be activities and a wonderful space for them to play!

Mama-chef!

The main event of the days is cooking while carrying! Georgia Irini Ganasouli (Mamangelic) will be with us, to help us become master-chefs!

While wearing our babies, we shall make delicious treats for the daddies, siblings and friends who’ll be there! And so, it will be babywearing in action, truly like in real life!

Especially for the day, since we’ll be babywearing, she’ll show us how to make a surprise no-bake recipe!

The recipe execution won’t take more than 30 mins.

If you don’t own a baby carrier, there is no need to worry, just make sure you also include this in the participation form and we’ll give you the appropriate carrier for your baby’s age, so that you are free to cook with both hands!

Babywearing workshops

At the same time, babywearing workshops will be taking place, so if you need some troubleshooting or have any babywearing questions, carrying also connects babywearers together!
